Gentleman, tour caddie, dried meat enthusiast. Jeff King has set out to redeem beef jerky from its gas-station reputation. Jeff began his epic quest as a caddie on the PGA and LPGA tours in 1998. He wanted to find the perfect jerky to sustain his players on the course. He searched high and low, locally and globally; but all the jerky he found, he found wanting.
Converting over a decade of frustration into inspiration, Jeff crafted his first batch of Classic Recipe jerky in his McKinney, Texas kitchen. Jeff had definitely hit a "hole in one" with his recipe <- yea we went there. So much so that other colleagues began rifling through Jeff's players' bag in search of his jerky. After countless requests Jeff caved and began selling his jerky to the greatest golfers on tour.
Soon no bag on tour was complete without a bag of Jeff's jerky. The same perfection preferred by the professionals is now available to the rest of us. Made for a king by a king.
